DESCRIPTION:Smits Group/Meguiar’s NZ will be getting up and doing some good for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ on Saturday 19th May by holding a Pink Ribbon Breakfast (Morning Tea) to fundraise for breast cancer research and to support patients with the disease. \nThe Smits Group/Meguiar’s NZ invite you to join us at our headquarters – 59 Greenmount Drive\, East Tamaki from 9.30am on Saturday 19th May\, for $10 per person to learn about how to properly care for your car and indulge in yummy muffins\, slices\, club sandwiches and tea & coffee. We hope to raise $1500 to donate to the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation. Register online at www.smitsgroup.co.nz and we will send you details on how to purchase your ticket and secure your spot. We will have 15% off Meguiar’s and Smits Group products available for purchase on the day and 100% of your ticket fee\, along with 15% of the total sales on the day will be donated to the NZBCF. \nThe car hobby in New Zealand is a thing that is passed down from generation to generation\, and over the years we’ve noticed a lot more women (and little girls) are involved or just love their car(s) so as a company we wanted to do our bit to support an organisation that’s funding research to save women’s lives. \nThe Pink Ribbon Breakfasts are an annual campaign to raise much-needed funds for the work of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. “In addition to research\, a large part of our work is in informing and supporting people in the community\, so it’s wonderful to see communities helping us to meet that need\,” says Evangelia Henderson\, chief executive of the Breast Cancer Foundation. \nProceeds from the Pink Ribbon Breakfasts will go towards funding research projects and medical grants to help improve breast cancer survivorship in New Zealand.
